AN EF-1 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 25...3
MILES WEST OF COUNTY ROAD 16...WHERE THOUSANDS OF TREES
WERE SNAPPED AND UPROOTED ALONG THE PATH. THERE WAS SOME
STRUCTURE DAMAGE AS THE TORNADO CROSSED HIGHWAY 5 SOUTH
OF WEST BLOCTON. THERE WAS MODERATE ROOF DAMAGE TO
SEVERAL HOMES AND TREES ON A MOBILE HOME. THE TORNADO
CONTINUED NORTHEAST LIFTING ALONG COUNTY ROAD 24...3
MILES EAST OF WEST BLOCTON. THE TRACK LENGTH WAS 21.8
MILES WITH A WIDTH OF 880 YARDS. THE MAX WIND SPEED WAS
105 MPH
