ADVECTING ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS AT ROUGHLY 20KT. VERY LITTLE
LIGHTNING IS CURRENTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS BAND BUT ISOLATED
STRIKES ARE NOTED ACROSS PARTS OF NWRN OK AND ALONG THE TX/OK
PANHANDLE BORDER. LATEST 00Z SOUNDINGS FROM BOTH OUN AND FWD
EXHIBIT STRONG CAPPING ABOVE THE BOUNDARY LAYER AND SIGNIFICANT MID
LEVEL ASCENT/MOISTENING WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE MEANINGFUL
INSTABILITY DEVELOPS ALONG THE I-35 CORRIDOR. HOWEVER...WITH TIME
CONTINUED MID LEVEL COOLING SHOULD STEEPEN LAPSE RATES SUFFICIENTLY
FOR AT LEAST A THREAT OF A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AN
OTHERWISE NONDESCRIPT PRE-FRONTAL CONVECTIVE LINE.
