DAY 3 CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
0213 AM CDT THU NOV 01 2012
VALID 031200Z - 041200Z
...SRN PLAINS TO TN VALLEY...
WEAK HEIGHT FALLS WILL SPREAD INTO THE SRN PLAINS/TN VALLEY REGION
AS UPPER TROUGH DIGS SEWD INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE CONUS. AS WNWLY
FLOW DEEPENS EAST OF THE ROCKIES A COLD FRONT WILL SETTLE TO A
POSITION FROM MIDDLE TN...SWWD INTO NCNTRL TX BY 04/00Z. THIS
BOUNDARY IS EXPECTED TO SERVE AS THE FOCUS FOR CONVECTIVE
DEVELOPMENT DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS AS TEMPERATURES WARM INTO THE
LOWER 80S. FORECAST SOUNDINGS ALONG THE ADVANCING BOUNDARY SUGGEST
MODEST INSTABILITY WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE WARM SECTOR AND A FEW
ROBUST TSTMS COULD EVOLVE DURING PEAK HEATING. THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD
SPREAD SEWD ALONG/AHEAD OF COLD FRONT WITH THE GREATER CONCENTRATION
OF CONVECTION EXPECTED TO OCCUR ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS WHERE
MOISTURE/INSTABILITY SHOULD BE SOMEWHAT HIGHER THAN ACROSS THE TN
VALLEY.
