WATER VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWS A WELL-DEFINED SHORTWAVE TROUGH OVER
NORTHWEST MEXICO AND PARTS OF AZ/NM. THIS SYSTEM WILL TRACK
EASTWARD ACROSS TX AND INTO THE LOWER MS VALLEY TONIGHT. WEAK
SOUTHERLY LOW LEVEL WINDS AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY
DESTABILIZE THE AIR MASS FROM NORTHEAST TX INTO WESTERN KY/TN.
PRESENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP AFTER
DARK ALONG THIS CORRIDOR AS LOW LEVEL WARM ADVECTION STRENGTHENS.
WEAK CAPE VALUES WILL LIMIT UPDRAFT STRENGTH AND OVERALL SEVERE
THREAT.
