WIND DAMAGE CONCENTRATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF CARLTON
RD AND HIGHWAY 133 WAS DETERMINED TO BE CAUSED BY A
MICROBURST. DAMAGE WAS CONSISTENTLY BLOWN TO THE
NORTHEAST. IN ADDITION TO SOME TREE DAMAGE... A COUPLE
HOMES HAD DAMAGE TO SIDING...SHINGLES...PORCH OVERHANGS
AND OUTBUILDINGS/SHEDS. MOST DAMAGE CONSISTENT WITH 65-70
MPH GUSTS. PEAK GUSTS IN THE 80-85 MPH RANGE.

THE SOUTHWEST OF THE BEGINNING OF A TORNADO. MORE
CONCENTRATED TREE DAMAGE JUST EAST ALONG SALEM CHURCH RD
AS WELL...INDICATING A DOWNBURST.

BRIEF EF0 TORNADO ON THE WESTERN OUTSKIRTS OF TIFTON...
JUST TO THE SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 82. PATH LENGTH APPROX 2.3
MILES. PATH WIDTH APPROX 300 YARDS. PEAK GUSTS AROUND
80-85 MPH. MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS TREE DAMAGE...BUT SOME
STRUCTURES WERE AFFECTED. A MANUFACTURED HOME SITTING ON
BLOCKS WAS BLOWN AND SLID 20 FEET. A METAL BUILDING UNDER
CONSTRUCTION PARTIALLY COLLAPSED. TWO SHEDS WERE FLIPPED.
AND TWO LARGE RETAIL STORES HAD SOME MINOR ROOF DAMAGE
AND AC UNITS MOVED OR TIPPED.

TREE DAMAGE IN THE CITY OF TIFTON. A COUPLE TREES BLOWN
DOWN ON VEHICLES OR RESIDENCES. METAL ROOFING OFF A
BUILDING ALONG BEECH STREET. A COUPLE STREET SIGNS BLOWN
DOWN. GUSTS LIKELY PEAKED IN THE 65-75 MPH RANGE.
