INTENSE AND STRONGLY NEGATIVELY TILTED SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL EJECT
NEWD FROM THE MID ATLANTIC STATES TO EAST OF MAINE. THIS WILL RESULT
IN DEEPENING CYCLONE OFFSHORE...THOUGH VERY WEAK INSTABILITY AND
COLD AIR MASS INLAND WILL LIMIT STRONG CONVECTIVE DEVELOPMENT.
ANOTHER VERY INTENSE AND COLD SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL DROP SEWD INTO
THE PACIFIC NW/NRN ROCKIES LATE IN THE PERIOD. ASSOCIATED LARGE
SCALE LIFT WILL RESULT IN WIDESPREAD PCPN AND PERHAPS EVEN A FEW
LIGHTNING STRIKES.
ELSEWHERE...SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL COVER MOST OF THE
NATION AND INHIBIT CONVECTIVE DEVELOPMENT.
