OH AND TN VALLEYS TODAY AS NORTHWEST FLOW REMAINS ESTABLISHED ACROSS
THE PLAINS AND ROCKIES. AT THE SFC...A COLD FRONT IN CNTRL FLORIDA
WILL MOVE SLOWLY SWD. LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE ALONG THE BOUNDARY AND
DESTABILIZATION SHOULD RESULT IN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT
IN FL THIS AFTERNOON. FURTHER WEST IN THE SRN PLAINS...A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ONGOING IN WCNTRL TX EARLY IN THE PERIOD.
ELSEWHERE...A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE PACIFIC
NORTHWEST DUE TO STRONG LARGE-SCALE ASCENT AND STEEP LAPSE RATES
WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED LOW-LEVEL JET. NONE OF THE
ACTIVITY ACROSS THE CONUS IS EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE SUNDAY OR SUNDAY
NIGHT.
