12/24/2009 F0 AVOYELLES LA NWS STORM SURVEY
THE SAME STORM THAT PRODUCED THE WHITEVILLE TORNADO
SPAWNED AN EF0 TORNADO THAT BEGAN ABOUT 3 MILES SSW OF
EVERGREEN ALONG HIGHWAY 1178 AND MOVED NORTHEAST ENDING
SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 29 ABOUT 1 MILE EAST OF THE KARO
COMMUNITY. NUMEROUS TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN OR DAMAGED
ALONG THE PATH WITH LITTLE OTHER DAMAGE NOTED IN THIS
SPARSELY POPULATED AREA. PATH LENGTH OF 5 MILES AND PATH
WIDTH OF 25 YARDS.
