12/24/2009 F0 ACADIA LA NWS STORM SURVEY
AN EF0 TORNADO BEGAN ABOUT 1 MILE EAST OF THE PRUDHOMME
COMMUNITY AND MOVED NNE INTO ST LANDRY PARISH BEFORE
ENDING JUST NORTH OF HWY 190 ABOUT 1 MILE EAST OF SAVOY.
NUMEROUS TREES AND POWER LINES WERE BLOWN DOWN ALONG HWY
358 AND WAYNE RD. ONE BARN WAS DAMAGED ON WAYNE RD AND
DEBRIS FROM THE BARN WAS CARRIED ACROSS HWY 190. A
RESIDENT ON WAYNE RD WATCHED THE TORNADO CROSS HIS
CRAWFISH POND ACROSS THE STREET. PATH LENGTH OF 3 MILES
AND PATH WIDTH OF 25 YARDS.
