WILL BE QUITE STEEP BENEATH THE COLD POOL OF THE UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH
WHICH COMBINED WITH STRONG LARGE-SCALE ASCENT WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT ACROSS PARTS OF SRN AND CNTRL UT
THIS AFTERNOON. FURTHER SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS...A
LOW-LEVEL JET IS FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN TONIGHT WHICH WILL HELP
BRING LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE NWD ACROSS THE SRN TX COASTAL PLAIN.
ALTHOUGH INSTABILITY WILL REMAIN WEAK ACROSS SOUTH TX...SFC
DEWPOINTS MAY REACH THE UPPER 50S TO NEAR 60 F. ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE WEST EDGE OF THE
MOIST AXIS AS AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH MOVES INTO THE SRN PLAINS LATE
TONIGHT. NONE OF THE ACTIVITY ACROSS THE CONUS TODAY OR TONIGHT IS
EXPECTED TO REACH SEVERE LIMITS.
