NEXT UPPER TROUGH DIGS ALONG THE CA COAST. MOST OF THE NATION WILL
BE BETWEEN SYSTEMS DURING THIS FORECAST PERIOD...LEADING TO A
RELATIVELY QUIET CONVECTIVE DAY.
...SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND...
A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING OVER PARTS OF
SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND AHEAD OF THE DEPARTING UPPER TROUGH. THIS
THREAT SHOULD DIMINISH BY EARLY AFTERNOON.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED LATER TODAY OVER MUCH OF THE
NORTHERN GREAT BASIN AND ALONG THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST. A FEW
OF THESE STORMS MAY CONTAIN GUSTY WINDS OR HAIL...BUT ORGANIZED
SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED.
...CENTRAL PLAINS...
FINALLY...LOW LEVEL WARM ADVECTION MAY RESULT IN ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT OVER PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS. WEAK
THERMODYNAMIC PROFILES AND LIMITED MOISTURE SHOULD PRECLUDE SEVERE
STORMS.
