THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 653
CONTINUES.

LOW LEVEL WARM ADVECTION APPEARS TO BE THE DRIVING MECHANISM IN
ONGOING ELEVATED CONVECTION ACROSS THE UPPER GREAT LAKES REGION.
STRONG UPDRAFTS HAVE PROPAGATED INTO NWRN WI AND ARE SPREADING EAST
OF WW653. THIS ACTIVITY WILL LIKELY DEVELOP INTO PORTIONS OF THE
WRN U.P. OF MI OVER THE NEXT 1-2 HOURS WITH THE PRIMARY SEVERE
THREAT BEING LARGE HAIL. WILL MONITOR THIS REGION FOR A NEW SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WATCH.
